A nice Apple Crisp for the 1st day at school

It is the first day at school for my two teenage sons. They are a bit nervous since we just moved since couple weeks and it's all new to them. They don't know anybody, so I hope things will go well. I decided to make a nice Apple Crisp to celebrate this first day. My older son really like the crunchy topping. I have to stop him because he would eat it all.

  3. Helene, the apple crisp looks so warm and comforting on a day like today. I know I love the fall the most but I like to hang on to the last of the warm days. I know there is a beautiful Indian Summer down the road. Thak you for visiting my blog. It is very nice to talk to a fellow Canadian who has a passion for food and cooking schools as well. There is a cooking school on the island at Engeler Farm in the Cowichan Valley near Nanaimo. The best 8 days of my life so far was spent last June at a cooking school on the island of Kea in Greece. I blog about it all the time till people probably get tired of hearing about it. Wink...wink...If you look in the sidebar under the sub category Greece you will hear a little of my adventures and also under the sub category Cooking Schools.

  5. Dear Helene, you've beat me to the punch :) Today I had promised myself to visit your blog. I've been meaning to do so since I've been seeing your comments on Joe's posts but you know how it goes sometimes. Nevertheless, I am glad that you came over to visit. I hope you come back whenever you can.

I know that I'll be over here eating often :)

I've added you to roll and feeds.

    :)
