Tortilla Soup

Tortilla Soup

We had a good supper tonight. I love making soup and tonigh we had Tortilla Soup on the menu. This soup is really spicy and next time I'll remove the seeds from the jalapeño chile.

To garnish the soup you can make your own tortilla strips or just crumbled some tortillas chips into your bowl. We added cheese in each bowl and garnished with cilantro. We ate two bowls each. It was delicious and I'll be making this soup again.

Sounds like a good dish for a cold winter day! I love to top my tortilla soup with avocado and sour cream.

Sara, my son topped his with sour cream. I wanted avocado on mine but they were green at the market. Next time.

Bon dimanche!
