Brownies with Brown Sugar Sauce

Wow these brownies are addictive. After I saw the post on brownie comparison on The Way the Cookie Crumbles I decided to make one of the recipes. Since I previously made the famous Ina's Outrageous Brownies I baked the C.I. brownies.

After they were out of the oven and had cooled for 2 hrs I tasted them. At the time I did prefer Ina's brownies. After a night in the fridge I came up with the idea to serve them to my boys at Dinner with ice cream and a warm Brown Sugar Sauce. Success. It was so good. We were licking our plate. I will make these brownies again and will serve them exactly like I did tonight.

Week-End in Quebec City

My son and I spent 4 days in beautiful Quebec City. He went to take part of the 'Dictée des Amériques’, which is an international French spelling and grammar competition. He was representing British Columbia. He did not place first but we had a wonderful experience. We met people from more than 50 countries. All of our expenses were paid. We stayed at the Hilton just beside the Parliament. The competition took part in the Red Room of the Parliament.

The weather was beautiful on Saturday and I walked in the streets of Old Quebec City. I could have spent days just walking around. It's such a beautiful city. I also have a sister that lives there and we met. It was nice because we don't see each other often.

Roasted Potatoes

Happy Easter!

We made a Greek Dinner tonight. We had greek salad, souvlakis, tsatziki and roasted potatoes. When I saw this recipe at Elise's blog I knew I had to make it. I've been making them couple times now and my family rave about them. So I had to share the recipe with you.
