Mango Kulfi Cheesecake in Kraft Kitchens

On Wednesday I was invited to attend the Kraft My Way Event in Kraft Kitchens in Toronto, ON. We were group of 12 food bloggers, ladies in social media and web magazine editors. I had been a follower of Ruth from Once Upon A Feast for a long time and had the privilege to finally meet her.

Upon arrival we were greeted by a great team of ladies working in the Kraft Kitchen and a lovely table of delicious food for breakfast. Then we had the pleasure to meet M. Bianco, the President of Kraft Canada. He took the time to address us and to listen to our concerns in the food industry.

On March 22nd Kraft Canada has entered the world of Twitter. We were all excited to hear about it and everyone of us received an apron with our Twitter username. You can follow Kraft Canada @KraftCanada. During the day we discussed the importance of social media and we had the chance to share our opinion with them. The were really interested in hearing what we had to say. Social media is here to stay and they are evolving in this direction.

During the day we did a Behind The Scenes Tour. We cooked in their kitchens. They have four kitchens set up like any kitchens at home. We each had one recipe to cook. That was a lot of fun to actually cook in their kitchens and to experience what they do every day. The food was really good and I have a lot of delicious recipes to share. I told them that I would like to move into Kraft Kitchens.

I will talk about more about my day in Kraft Kitchens in an another post and I have more pictures to share. Today I want to share with you my favorite dessert of the day. It is the Mango Kulfi Cheesecake.

This is the link of the video of how to make this cheesecake: Mango Kulfi Cheesecake

Crazy that it has taken them so long. Behind the times if Social Media isn't being used to its fullest potential. That is one lovely dessert. Nice apron!

Beautiful cake! I will go and watch it in a minute, but I am much more interested in what the concerns were about the food industry that were discussed and the answers that the Kraft President offered you. I would have definitely put them to task on a number of things... regarding processed food and questions about food sovereignty and the Kraft Canada take on the farmer having control of his own produce.
:)
Beautiful Cake!
