If you are looking for inspiration to bake this week-end try these Chocolate Chips Muffins. I have been baking these muffins for years and they are still a favorite in my house.
Chocolate Chips Muffins
500 ml all-purpose unbleached flour
75 ml brown sugar
75 ml sugar
10 ml baking powder
2.5 ml salt
75 ml milk
125 ml butter, melted and cooled
2 eggs, beaten
5 ml vanilla
250 to 300 ml Hershey's chocolate chips
125 ml walnuts or pecans, chopped (optional)
1- Preheat oven to 400F. Fill muffin pan with muffin cups or spray with Pam.
2- In a large bowl mix all dry ingredients. In a small bowl mix wet ingredients.
3- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients. Mix with a fork.
4- Spoon batter into muffin cups. Bake at 400F for 15 to 20 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
5- Let cook on a cookie rack for 15 minutes.
