Already December 2nd. We are getting ready for the Holidays. Next week I am going to my book club and we are doing a Cookie Exchange. That's always a fun night.
The best thing when I receive presents is to slowly open them. I do the same when I receive a 'surprise' package from a company. Last week I received a box from Loblaws with President's Choice goodies. I carefully opened the box to find PC Big Box Chocolates and Toffee Collection, a PC Red Velvet Cake Mix, a bottle of PC Memories of Morocco Sweet and Spicy Tagine Sauce and a nice PC shopping bag. I've been sampling the Chocolates this week. If you like milk chocolate and toffees grad a box. Here is the link of PC Insider's report. I am always excited to discover new PC products when I get a copy.
If you haven't been in a store where they sell President's Choice recently you will probably fall in love with the new PC Black Label.
I tried the Fiorelli Pasta and like the taste and especially the shape. Hopefully I will have a chance to try more products from that new line. Also the website is very well designed. If you are still looking for a gift they have a beautiful cookbook called The Epicurean's Companion filled with gorgeous pictures.

I have not seen that new line..we love PC products..what a fun gift you received.. I bet the red velvet cake will be fun to make..and way less food coloring..

Beautiful pics, Helene! I used to be "in on" the President's Choice list.. and get these goodie packages, but I am not any more. Last one I got was a year ago and it was the canning one - I was thrilled and put everything to very good use and did a couple of posts for them. When I have to buy at a BIG store, Superstore is definitely my go-to place. I know it off by heart and just wish they could do better with providing more Canadian products. (There is information on their site and the best they have done in the summer is 40% Canadian) However, as it is Canadian owned, I am there for all paper products and many others I cannot get at my local farmer's market. President's Choice Olive Oil is excellent - as are SO many of their house brand products!
What I want to know is WHAT COOKIES are you taking to the exchange next week?
