Just few more days and it is Christmas.  Are you done with your shopping?  I am done buying gifts but still need to go to the grocery store.  Tomorrow will be a busy day to prepare the house for the guests coming on Saturday.  Will start prepping food also.  I tried a third dessert for DessertCentre.ca today.  It's the Chocolate Shortbread Cookies.  Wow they are good.  So far the best dessert that I have made for the #desser1st event.

White Christmas Crunch Squares - Dessert First Kraft Canada

There was a lot of people at the grocery store today.  I am getting ready for Christmas Eve which means a lot of baking.  Here is a second dessert that I would like to share with you from DessertCentre.ca.  Those White Christmas Crunch Squares are one of the easiest dessert recipes that you will ever make.  Kids will want to help you in the kitchen and decorate the squares with crushed candy canes.  I saw a lady shopping with her What's Cooking Magazine at the store today. Just five more days and my parents and brother are coming to Ottawa to Celebrate Christmas with us.  We are excited to spend some time with them.

The Holiday Season with President's Choice

Already December 2nd.  We are getting ready for the Holidays.  Next week I am going to my book club and we are doing a Cookie Exchange.  That's always a fun night.

The best thing when I receive presents is to slowly open them.  I do the same when I receive a 'surprise' package from a company.  Last week I received a box from Loblaws with President's Choice goodies.  I carefully opened the box to find PC Big Box Chocolates and Toffee Collection, a PC Red Velvet Cake Mix, a bottle of PC Memories of Morocco Sweet and Spicy Tagine Sauce and a nice PC shopping bag.  I've been sampling the Chocolates this week.  If you like milk chocolate and toffees grad a box.
