For New Year's Eve my sister rented two cottage near Québec City and invited my parents, my other sister and her family, my brother and my family to celebrate with her. She made a delicious tourtière, a recipe from Lac St-Jean.
Everyone made a dish for the meal. I prepared Mars Bars, Dates Squares and this delicious Sugar Pie with Pets de Soeur. It is an old-fashioned recipe. The Pets de Soeur that tops the sugar pie are a pastry dough, with butter and brown sugar, baked in cream. You can't stop eating them. (recipe coming soon)
(Contest Closed, the winner is Julia Sylvestre, congratulations!)
