Kitchen Sink Muffins Recipe

I could not stop at one after baking these Kitchen Sink Muffins. I decided to cook and bake more from my cookbook collection. With the internet we got into the habit of searching recipes online but I still prefer to hold a cookbook in my hands. I get inspired by pictures and I also read my cookbooks like novels. Some cookbooks have interesting stories that they share with the readers.

Kitchen Sink Muffins

1 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup sugar
½ tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
¼ cup Macademia Nut Oil (Olivado)
1 egg
2 tsp Chia Seeds
½ banana, mashed
½ cup strawberry applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup grated carrots
½ cup Hazelnut & Currant Green & Black’s Organic Dark Chocolate
½ cup frozen raspberries
¼ cup dates, chopped

Makes 9 muffins.

I was inspired to make these muffins by the original recipe in the Farm Fresh Recipes cookbook on page 137.
