In less than two month the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia will start. I had the chance to be at the last Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010. It was an amazing experience and I wish that everyone could go to the Olympics once in their life.
In February we will be glued to the TV to watch hockey, luge, ski, figure skating, speed skating, just to name a few. Some athletes that we cannot wait to watch perform will be Alexandre Bilodeau in ski, the brothers Charles and François Hamelin in short track speed skating. I already have my red mittens and I am proud to be Canadian and walk around town with them.
As you may know it is expensive for any athletes to be part of any competitive sport. I know for a fact because I have two sons that were in competitive hockey and trampoline.
Once the athletes are selected on the Canadian team to go to the Olympics it becomes very expensive and they need sponsors.
I hope that everyone will encourage our Canadian athletes at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics from February 7 to 23. To help you be in the Olympics spirit one lucky reader will win a nice prize. Please read about the giveaway below.
