Chocolate Rice Krispies Squares Recipe

chocolate rice krispies squares

This is a quick post because I am on vacation but wanted to share a recipe I made before leaving.

These Chocolate Rice Krispies Squares are simply mini chocolate bars that I had leftover from Halloween and Rice Krispies. I melted the bars in microwave and added the cereals. Then I dipped one end with white chocolate.

Make them during the holidays, bring them to cookie exchange. These will be the first to go at any parties, they are so good!

Chocolate Rice Krispies Squares
CHOCOLATE RICE KRISPIES SQUARE

Ingredients
2 cups Rice Krispies
18 mini chocolate bars (I used Wonderbars)
1/2 cup Green & Black's Organic White Chocolate, chopped in small pieces

Directions
1- Line a 8x8 pan with parchment paper.
2- Melt the chocolate bars into the microwave on high for 45 seconds.
3- Add 2 cups of Rice Krispies and mix quickly.
4- Spread into the pan. You might want to use wet hands so that the mixture does not stick.
5- Place in a cool place for about 1 hour. After than you can cut your squares into any shape that you like.
6- Melt the Green & Black's Organic White Chocolate in the microwave. Dip one end of each Rice Krispies Squares into chocolate.
