granola energy bars

DESSERT: I have been snacking on these Granola Energy Bars from Dorie Greenspan all week. It's from her new cookbook Baking Chez Moi. The first time I made these bars I did not have brown rice syrup in the house and I used maple syrup. My bars crumbled and we ate them as granola to top our greek yogurt. This time I used a new Pumpkin Honey from Nude Bee Honey Co. What a big different in the texture of these bars. And with this honey the taste is seriously good.

BLOG POST TO READ:  It's cold, winter and it's snowing. All we want to do is curl up in a chair with a good book. If you are looking for a new book and don't know what to read next head over to Try Small Things, Julie is sharing her love for a book that she had just finish reading: Etta and Otto and Russell and James from Emma Hooper. Can't wait to read it!

PINTEREST: All we heard all week is: Super Bowl! Head over to Pinterest and have a look at the delicious recipes that I am sharing for the big day. And did I tell you how much I love these Jalapeño Poppers stuffed with cream cheese, goat cheese and parmesan cheese? Make them you will not regret it!
