Container Shelve Makeover!

It feels like I am always reorganizing my home. When I am done with one room, I have to start in another one. The kitchen seems to be the one place where it's hardest to organize the way I want because of the lack of storage. I have a medium-sized kitchen but because I have a lot of stuff I would need a large kitchen or one room dedicated to put away everything that I need to cook, bake and store.
When I received the Rubbermaid's Easy Find Lids set in January, I could not wait to try them and to find a place to store this set. First, I love the red lids and the fact that they snap together. No more searching for a lid. The large lids fit three different sizes of containers and the medium lids match two different sizes. You can also attach your lids to the bottom of the containers. So convenient and that simplifies my life!
When you are getting ready to pack lunch you just grab any container and a lid and you know that it will fit. I was also surprised by how little space it took in my cupboard. And as you can see in the picture below, there is a total of 24 durable pieces in the set.

Rubbermaid Easy Find Lids features:
  • Graduated sized containers nest for compact storage
  • Lids snap together and to container bases so you can always find the right lid
  • One lid fits multiple bases
  • Microwave/Freezer/Dishwasher Safe
  • Square shape for optimal space utilization
  • Bases and Lids are BPA FREE
  • Thick, durable container walls for everyday use

THE COMPLETE SET

BEFORE

AFTER

I use containers to store my food all the time in my fridge, freezer and in my RV. I love to prepare large pots of soup, freeze them and bring them in the RV when we go camping.

These containers look good and you can pack your lunches the day before, store them in the refrigerator and in the morning you are ready to go. The cute mini containers are so convenient for salad dressings, nuts, dried cranberries, etc. Your food will stay fresh until you are ready to eat your lunch.

I am going to use my new Rubbermaid containers to freeze chilis, shepherd's pies, lasagna, chicken curry and other meals because I have two sons that always come and go. I need a freezer packed with food that can easily go from freezer to microwave. These are the perfect size for that. When they come home late and they are hungry there is always something good to eat in the house!
