Week 1 Water Challenge with #CarlsCrew

This year I am doing another #CarlsCrew 6 week healthy challenge. Over the next week I will share with you our weekly challenge. An amazing group of bloggers is participating in this challenge with Subway Canada this year. 



This week our challenge is to drink water. This may sound like a simple thing to do, but until you actually count how many glasses you drink you do not realize that you might not be drinking enough.

Try to commit to drinking an extra 1L of water than you usually do daily, to a maximum of 2.7 L for women and 3.7 L for men. I keep a log beside my glass to keep track of all the water that I drink during the day. This helps me to stay hydrated all day long. 

Did you know that water helps oxygen travel to our bloodstream? It also balances our body temperature and it helps our cells to maintain their proper functions. These are all good reasons to start drinking water today!

  7. Due to the meds I'm taking I really need to lose weight..it's a vicious circle..side effects aren't nice at all.

  11. I definitely need to drink more water! I've made a lot of changes since January - moving more, eating more mindfully, lost 19 pounds and counting - but I'm still not making my water goal each day. I love this water challenge! Thanks!! :-)

  18. The lifestyle change I want to accomplish is to limit the carbs and sugars more. The reason is because that is what causes the most issues with my health.
