Carl Savard is Subway Canada's Commit to Fit ambassador and he is inspiring us to reach our goals this year. He is a great motivator and I'm impressed with how far he's come in only a couple of years. He is a personal trainer and he ran Ottawa's marathon 16 months after weighing over 300 lbs. He achieved his goal by making healthier choices and becoming more active.
This week's challenge is to tackle those pieces of 'unfinished business'. What does that mean? It's all of your unfinished tasks like items that you did not cross off your to-do list yet. We all have a lot in on our plates and at times it's stressful just to think about what we have to do, but setting small goals can help reduce our stress and make things seem more doable.
Carl asked us to create a list of three things that we have been putting off. He even suggested that by the end of the week one item on the list must be checked off. I had to think about it twice before creating my list. I'm dealing with the loss of a dear cousin and it's hard for me to find the motivation to concentrate on what I have to do this month.
Here's my list:
2- Do yoga 2-3 times a week
