Here's my Holiday Gift Guide: Part 2. You can read Part 1 here.
Everybody is talking about Star Wars at the moment. I remember when I watched the first movie, one of my favourite characters was R2-D2. Because the new Star Wars movie, The Force Awakens, is out now, you could give your loved ones a gift card to a movie theatre. I'm sure that a Netflix gift card would also be appreciated.
Other gift cards that people like to receive are Subway, Starbucks, and Tim Hortons. My dad likes McDonald's gift cards because he likes to go there for his morning coffee.
For the music fans I would offer them a Spotify gift card.
Adele's tour tickets have sold out in minutes. If you have a fan of Adele in your family, like me, give them her new CD: 25.
If someone on your list is a fan of photography give them this new Canon Rebel T6s with EF-S 18-135mm IS STM Lens Kit. This is the camera I use all the time and I love it. I use this camera for my food photos, and I also used it during my two week trip to Italy. You will be amazed by the quality of the pictures.
FOUNTAIN PEN, INK, PAPER:
I love writing with fountain pens and have a small collection at home. If you have someone on your list that is into fountain pens you could offer them a nice set of Pilot Iroshizuku mini bottles of ink. It comes in a nice box and this ink writes so well.
You can buy a fountain pen with pretty much any budget. These three are really nice to offer and I have been using them a lot during the year and they write very well. The Goulet Pen Co sells these fountain pen in the US and you can find some of them at Wonderpens in Canada. Both of these companies offer great customer service.
Lamy Al-Star Fountain Pen in CopperOrange (Special Edition)
Pilot Metropolitan Fountain Pen - Violet Leopard
Edison Pen Co. Fountain Pen - Collier Persimmon Swirl
Visconti Van Gogh Fountain Pen - Staryy Night (One of my favorite)
You need good paper to write with fountain pens. My favorite is Rhodia but I also like Apica and Clairefontaine.
I can't live without my Le Creuset Round French Oven in Red. I just made a delicious spaghetti sauce tonight in my Creuset.
You can never have too many Microplanes! It's such a great invention. I use them for garlic, chocolate, cheese, ginger, spices, lemon zest and more. I have some in my home and some in my RV.
Another great gift is this Hamilton Beach 2 Speed Hand Blender. It whips, blends, mixes, chops and purees your food. I use it to puree potages. This blender does not take much space, you could buy it for someone living in a small apartment, a college student, or someone living in an RV. It comes with three attachments: stainless steel blending wand, power whisk and chopping attachment.
I love Pandora jewelry. The winter collection this year is so nice. You could offer a special person in your life a new charm for their bracelet like the Radiant Hearts, Sky Blue Crystal & Clear CZ Bead or the Chrystalized Snowflakes, Blue Crystals & CZ Bead.
My favorite jeweller is Anne-Marie Chagnon from Québec. Her handmade designs are beautiful. Her new collection in the color Marsala is stunning.
I love bags and a company that I have been buying from for couple years is Longchamp. I use Longchamp Le Pliage to travel a lot and to go shopping. The Bilberry color is really nice in the large size with long handles.
