Brownies 1

I like to try different brownie recipes and this one is becoming one of my favorite. All my kids were coming for Dinner Sunday and Justin also. At the last minute I prepared this recipe for dessert. Any high-quality chocolate will work for this recipe and I like to use dark Callebaut. This brownie has a chewy texture with morsels of chocolate. You can serve these with vanilla ice cream and a homemade hot chocolate sauce.

A la dernière minute j'ai décidé de préparer ces brownies. Vous pouvez utiliser n'importe quel chocolat de qualité et j'aime utiliser le Callebaut noir. J'aime croquer dans les morceaux de chocolats qui sont incorporés au mélange avant de cuire les brownies. Vous pouvez les servir avec de la crème glacée à la vanille et une sauce chaude au chocolat maison.


300 ml pastry flour
2 ml salt
5 ml baking powder
6 on dark chocolate, chopped fine
170g butter, cut in small pieces
500 ml sugar
4 eggs
5 ml vanilla extract

1- Preheat oven to 325 F. Cover a 13 x 9 pan with parchment paper.
2- Melt chocolate and butter in the microwave. Add sugar and whisk. Add eggs and mix well after each addition. Add vanilla extract and mix with a fork.
3- In a small bowl mix the flour, salt and baking powder. Add to the chocolate mixture and mix well with a spatula
4- Place batter in pan. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool at room temperature for about 2 hours. Inspired by CI.
