Banana Granola Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe





These cookies are made with Banana Granola Peanut Butter. I tried this new peanut butter, on my toasts at breakfast, and really liked the texture and taste. It seems to me that the first recipe that always comes to mind when I think peanut butter is peanut butter cookies. To simplify my life I only used one bowl and mixed everything in my Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer. I am quite pleased with the final results and my favourite taster, my son, came back from school and the first thing he did was savour one of my cookies. He then asked how many he could eat today.


Banana Granola Peanut Butter Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup Raw Cane Turbinado Sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter at room temperature
1 cup Banana Granola Peanut Butter
1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1 cup Old-Fashioned Oatmeal
1 tsp Baking Powder
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1/2 tsp Salt

Directions
1- Heat oven to 350F.
2- In the bowl of a stand mixer mix for 2 minutes the butter, sugar and eggs.
3- Add the Banana Granola Peanut Butter and mix another 30 seconds.
4- Add remaining ingredients and mix for 60 seconds.
5- Drop by tablespoofuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto baking sheets covered with parchment paper. Flatten each, in criss-cross pattern with tines of fork.
6- Bake at 350F for 10 to 11 minutes.
7- Cook on baking for 5 minutes and transfer to wire racks. Cool completely.
