Happy Halloween! We are getting ready to decorate the porch. My daughter is coming home this afternoon and she will carved the pumpkins. Last year over 100 kids came to our door. This year I am expecting more because we live in an area that is still under development. It's nice and sunny today. I think people will get out more because halloween falls on a Friday. I like to dress up to open the door. I might be a Montréal Canadiens fan this year. I have not made up my mind yet. Are you dressing up for halloween this year?

Did I ever told you that we love chili when the days are getting colder? It's one of these meal that the whole family enjoys. It can be done in not time and everyone can add the fixings that they like on their chili. This time I decided to serve mine on a bed of lettuce romaine and top with cheese, Greek yogurt and green onions. That was so good that the next day I ate the leftovers the same way.  I usually don't eat the leftovers because my sons take care of eating them. This time I was glad that they left me some for my lunch.

FIRESIDE CHILI

Ingredients:
450g extra-lean ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
1/4 cup Kraft Golden Italian dressing
1 can 540 ml diced tomatoes, undrained
1 can 540 ml kidney beans, drained
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp chili powder
3/4 cup Kraft Tex-Mex Shredded Cheese
